Running Back Status for Week 11

Published by chriscarv at 8:42 pm under Fantasy Football Edit This

So there have been many Running Backs that have been listed as probable and some that have already been ruled out. As I mentioned before Clinton Portis will be a gametime decission and Shawn Alexander may play instead, but there are some others you may want to look at.

Tatum Bell signed with the Denver Broncos and it has been said that he may start Sunday. He knows the playbook and  he may be in the lineup. We all know the Broncos have struggled with injuries and lack of skill but I don’t think Tatum Bell is necessarily the answer. If he gets the call Sunday and does well though he could see carries through the rest of the season. My advice is to grab him up, and see what happens if you have room but don’t drop any starters for him.

Another person back in the lineup is Larry Johnson. After he served his suspension both team and league, he will be starting Sunday. I wouldn’t drop Jamal Charles though we could see them split carries throughout.

Today it was announced that Reggie Bush will not return this week. Even with Reggie Bush coming back soon, I wouldn’t necessarily drop Deuce McCallister. This is still a split back system. What I would do however is drop Pierre Thomas if you haven’t already. He hasn’t been much to right home about anyway.

Another person I would keep an eye on is Willie Parker. He will start again but he will most likely split carries with Mewelde Moore and why shouldn’t he. Moore has done great through Parker’s injury and the last thing you want is an even more injured Parker.

So, there it is the Running back sleepers in week 11. As always don’t drop any starters for these guys but use them to help a struggling lineup.
